Welfare BBQ Meats

Serving the locals for over 20 years, Welfare BBQ Meats is known for its quick feeds, plating up roast meats on rice and not much more than that (well, some noodles as well, but they also feature the aforementioned meats). If forced to choose between them, we’d go for the roast duck any day — that glossy skin is what dreams are made of — but if there are a few of you, get the plate of duck, roast pork, BBQ pork, and share. It’s a bustling sort of place, where things move quickly, so don’t expect super-attentive service — although if you go often enough, the family who runs things will begin to recognise you and welcome you in warmly.
