In an inner-city side street with dozens of similar eateries nearby, this place is an ideal location for a quick lunch or dinner in the city. The xiaolongbao is a crowd favourite and the best we’ve had in a while — with pastry strong enough that holds its shape while you drink the flavourful soup inside, rather than disintegrating instantly like a lot of other places. The rest of the menu is easy to choose from, with a solid selection of dishes, especially the spicy beef noodles. Great value for a casual meal or snack by yourself at the bar seats up front, or with a group at a table at the back. — Fraser Cho
