Society coffee, with rotating guest filter

From the street, a square-boxed window perfectly frames an idyllic scene: a couple sitting close, having coffee with their backs to the street; beyond them, one barista on the espresso machine pulling shots and another one slowly circling their wrist to make a pour-over filter coffee. The light is yellow and warm. This new minimalist specialty coffee bar, Rumours, doesn’t have much in it: some benches, low tables, a speaker, a plant and the coffee gear. As such, it feels deliberate, in balance with their coffee-forward ethos. It’s lovely.
