We are big fans of the overall vibes at Nanny’s. The food might take a while, but it doesn’t really matter when the staff are this friendly, the food this good and the night always goes well. Nanny’s are known for their jerk chicken, seasoned hot (and do get it spicy). If you make it a combo, the chicken comes with two sides — we usually like the rice ’n’ peas and mac ’n’ cheese, though there is a green salad option if you insist. And though we’re very happy with our jerk chicken, once you get that out of the way on your first visit, there’s also the Jamaican oxtail, the curry goat and other weekly specials.
